 In every person's life there are paths all leading to a certain destiny. Marking each step along the way are new experiences and memories, good and bad, happy and sad, which collectively tell the story of one's journey through life.
This latest collection of sentimental favorites by Hawaiian virtuoso Ned Ka'apana represents a personal journey in life that culminated in his return to his abiding love for 'aina and 'ohana. Each selection as arranged in Ned's own distinctive "nahenahe" style evokes feelings and images of the past with overtones of the future to come.
In "Second Time Around," Ned draws from his rich Kalapana musical heritage in creating beautiful solo vocal and guitar arrangements to selected traditional, contemporary and original Hawaiian melodies, which are further enriched by the steel guitar of master Jerry Byrd.
